This has to be the best martial arts movie you'll ever get your hands on. It has the usual plot, bad guy rules the city, good guy comes along and kicks bad guys butt, but the capoeira in it is extremely fascinating and authentic. It also contains some great Mestres of today. At some points the scenes move so fast you'll want to stop, rewind, and watch it frame by frame to catch the movements. Truly a good movie for the Capoeira enthusiast, or those who enjoyed other martial arts movies such as the Karate Kid series, Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee movies, or The One (Jet Li).

This has to be the best martial arts movie you'll ever get your hands on. It has a cool plot (bad guy rules city, good guy comes and kicks bad guys butt) and the capoeira is extremely fascinating and authentic. At some points the men were moving so fast and executing attacks so quickly that I had to stop, rewind, and watch it frame by frame. Truly a good movie if you enjoyed the Karate Kid series, Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee movies, or The One (Jet Li).
