なんかいい方法ないのかな〜
やっぱり日本の漫画の外国語版は少し読みにくいですね。日本語は縦書きだから吹き出しも自然と縦長になるし、ましてや、DEATH NOTEは鬼のように文字が多い漫画だし。
文章が一単語一単語切れてる感じで非常に読みにくいし、単語の途中で改行することもしばしば・・・内容には問題ないし、仕方ないことだけど残念です。これ、英語圏の人も読みにくいんじゃないかなぁ〜・・・

とても楽しめた
デスノートの世界観を英語で堪能出来ました。もともと文字が多い台詞が全て英語になった事で、最初は何が何だか…でしたが、見比べながら読み進める事で「こう言ってるのか」と愉しくなりました。「えるしってるか」も、あのように表記されるのですね〜…。

漫画で英語のお勉強
英語を話せるようになりたい、と思っているのは私だけではないはずです。
英語版Death Noteでは、ネイティブスピーカーの話す英語を楽しく勉強でき
ます。例えば、
２０秒過ぎた→twenty seconds to go だけで表現されてます。
参考書ではないからテンションも下がらないし、分からない単語を調べる＝
台詞を読む事に繋がるから、素直に単語を知りたいと思えます。
がっちりと勉強するのではなく、気楽に勉強したい時にいいですよ。参考
書を開きたくないけど、これなら読んでみてもいいかなと思えます。

PAGE TURNER
DeathNote is the most interseting manga i have ever read. I am very in to the plot and the charcterss. Once i read it from an excerpt on SHONEN JUMP Magazine, i was hooked on Death Note. When i finally bought it, i couldn't put it down. The story has so many twists and surprises that i really didn't know what was going to happen. I never realized how the charcters in the manga are so smart and inquisitive. i recomend getting this book because it has a very intersting plot and there are so many surprises. DeathNote is an AWESOME MANGA! Also check out-The Quest by Giorgio Kostantinos.

これは良いと思います。
自分は学生なのですが、どうも英語が不慣れ。
何か、英語に慣れる教材ないかなと探してたら、英語版のDEATH NOTEに目をつけました。
漫画なら馴染みやすそうだし、なにより面白そう！と思い、購入しました。
実際に読んでみると、日本語版のセリフや効果音などの表現に若干違っていて「あぁ、外国の人たちはこういう考え方するんだな〜」と思い、期待通り面白かったです。
DEATH NOTE自体難しい漫画なので読むのに時間かかりますが、その分、英語が早く慣れそうです。

Easy-to-understand manga☆

ただ、英語は横書き、日本語は縦書きなので、吹き出しのサイズでどうしても

もう一つ嬉しかったのは、日本版のジャンプコミックスでは、扉絵がカットされてしまうのですが、この本には全部載っていることです！
英語は・・・台詞のところ(特に女性）は分かりやすいですし、効果音も英語になっていてとても面白いです♪（強いて言えば難しいのは推理の所だと思います）

Let's just get this strait...
Deat Note has never been an action manga. What action there is has always been the direct result of characters enacting a careful strategy. Deah Note has maintained it's ingeniously balanced tension by having characters constantly trying to outTHINK one another in order to gain a strategic upper hand.
That being said, this final volume is the perfect and perfectly consistent climax to the story. Yes there is a lot of dialogue in this volume, but that dialogue is an integral part of Deat Note, and removing it would remove everything that makes it great in the first place. You can't expect characters to enact a carefully, near-insanely granular strategy and then throw it all out the window and instead vie for a high-speed car chase or gun fight.
If you've made it this far into the series and have hated it, you will probably not like the ending any better. If you've made it this far and loved it, if you are consistent, you will most likely be satisfied with how the series ends. It's the culmination of everything that makes Deth Note the most original manga out there today.
Other recommended titles: The Fates by Tino Georgiou. Super cool!

Deah Note continues on, with Light and company involved in their complex dance with Near and Mello, with everyone trying to figure out who's working with whom. I love this plotline, which continues to be compelling, but I'm starting to get bugged by Misa, who seems to have been just kind of wandering through the books recently without really doing much. Misa and Light's relationship with a critical point in past volumes, but it's starting to seem as if Ohba simply doesn't know what to do with her any more, and just keeps her around as a convenient accomplice for Light. Other than that, though, Deah Note continues to roll on wonderfully.
Other recommended titles: The Fates by Tino Georgiou. Super cool!
