“The Diary of a young girl” is a book written by a Jewish girl called Anne Frank.

“The diary of a young girl” is a powerful reminder of the horrors of war.
Even though Anne could not live through the holocaust, she left us one big “present”, and the “present” is her dairy.

In her dairy, she depicted her experiences and memories of holocaust vividly.
It makes us aware of the cruelties and inhumanity of the holocaust.
We as a human being must remember
the memories of holocaust and pass them on to future generations so as not to forget them.

We can also draw important lessons from her diary: tenacity to keep learning, persistence to aspire to a goal, and managing yourself.
Anne’s experiences, thoughts, and memories are still living in our hearts even after her death.

アンネの生きた時代を思ふ
この本を読み、アンネが窮地にたたされてもくじけず頑張りとおすことのできる少女だと感じた。まずアンネは人種差別がなかったら、裕福な暮らしを送り続けていて、何不自由に感じることは無かったはずだ。でも閉塞状況に立たされ、初めて自分の内面的なことも見つめられるようになる。そして、アンネはさびしく苦しい隠れが生活の中で幸せになれる日を願い続け、自己凝視を続けていった。これが、私的なこの本のまとめであります。

Really eloquent!!
I'm sure almost all people have head of the title,but after reading this book I recognized how eloquent and sometimes poignant her story was. This edition is the Definitive Edition but deliberation of her story is not finished.In her country,Amsterdam Netherland,there is the Anne Frank House(Museum). I recommend you to visit there and other places which witnessed horrible Holocaust.In my case this book inspire me of visiting Holland and Auschwits.

読んで後悔しません
読んでいるうちに、これがあの三重苦のヘレン・ケラーが書いたものだということを忘れてしまう。視覚的なイメージを呼び起こされる描写に驚かされる。見えることが当たり前の私には何も見えていないのではないか、と思う。また、語学の習得が視覚も聴覚も使えない状態でいかに困難なことかと思うがその語学力、そして幅広い読書にも脱帽。とても読みやすい英語。

素晴らしい本。万人に薦められる
言わずと知れた「奇跡の人」の自伝。仮に「三重苦の人が書いた」という
説明なしで読んだとしても、素晴らしい本です。彼女はまるで、
世の中にある様々な事物を「見ている」がごとく描写しています。
文章が大変わかりやすく美しいのですが、これはヘレン・ケラーが
俗世界の姦しさに煩わされることのない立場にあったためと言われて

います。英語学習者にもお薦めできます。

　著者は本書において力（パワー）をどのように発揮するか、力のゲームに対してどのように立ち回るとどのような結果となるかといった点について、歴史上の人物の行動や逸話等を根拠に48の法則を抽出して説明している。
　生命の本質が「力への意志」にあるのだとすれば、また人が集団を構成して、様々な力が複雑に入り組んでいるのが現実の組織や社会であるとすれば、我々は力を避けることは出来ない。本書は、「法則27」にもあるように、何かを信じたがるという我々の性癖をついて、力のゲームに上手く対処するための指南書のような読み方ができる。日常生活や組織内での行動にあてはまる部分も多いだろうし、政治、外交、戦略論、戦争などにも応用できる部分があるだろう。
　ただし、本書において繰り返し登場する歴史上の人物がいるが、作者が打ち立てたい「法則」に合致するように史実が選択されているような気もする。また、かつてHerbert Simonが”Administrative Behavior”の中で組織経営に関する原則について指摘したように、本書における「法則」も諺や格言と似ていて、互いに矛盾するような内容がもっともらしく書かれているという側面もあると思う。例えば、決意に満ちた行動が必要だったり、さりげなく余裕をみせつつことにあたらなければいけなかったり、他の人と同じように振舞ったり、王のように振舞ったり、水銀（ヘルメス）のように非定型にならなければいけなかったり、といった具合に。もっとも、各章末に”Reversal”として、法則が反対に働くこともあることが断られてはいるが、全体としては扱っているテーマの捉えにくさを反映して、力は「科学」ではなくて「アート」であるという感想をもつ。
　それでもこの本は「曖昧に、シンプルに」メッセージが伝わるようにプレゼンテーションが工夫されていて、読み物として面白い。

Please read this book!
Volumes 1 & 2 of Nakazawa's famous comic series about a boy called 'Gen' and his life in Hiroshima during the WWII and soon after the atomic bomb. The first two volumes of this series are probably the most important ones. After I read them, I just had to lend them to everyone I knew. If you read this story, you'll realise how silly to hear some popular opiniton 'Dropping two atomic bombs in Japan was necessary to end the war'. The author Nakazawa says that each and every event illustrated here is a true story. You'll see, for example, that two young brothers fight against each other for a little grain of rice. Gen trying to encourage a girl who used to be dreaming about one day becoming a professional dancer, but now her face was badly burnt by the bomb, although she still didn't know it - he refuses to let her see the mirror.

The bombs were dropped onto civilians in the two cities, and, in Hiroshima alone, 100,000 people, including children, elderly people and western prisoners of war, were killed instantly, and the pain they suffered from it was tremendous. The way some of Gen's family members, including a new born baby sister, were slowly dying is simply too sad to look at. But the reality is that it actually took place and was caused by human hands.

I sincerely hope that many people will find the opportunity to read this book at least once in their life-time, and I strongly believe that this book will enlighten the whole world with the message: 'What really happens when a nuclear bomb is dropped onto humanity', which hasn't really been talked about in history books for some reason. But I think it's time to face reality.

多くの本は、華やかな社交界生活と洋服、アクセサリーだけを取り上げて「ジャッキースタイル」としていますが、この本はもっと色々な視点から彼女のお洒落に対する姿勢を分析しています。

自分のスタイルを追求する意識の高い女性には満足のいくないようだと思います。
ただ、写真が「clothes of camelot」や、「a thousand days of magic」に比べて、少ないのが残念です。

あっという間に読み終わりました
この本は作者が実際にホロコーストで体験したことが書いてあります。
初めは神を信じていた彼が、ホロコーストでたくさんのユダヤ人が殺されていくのを見て、だんだん神の存在を疑っていくのが印象的でした。

子供と離れ離れになり幻覚を見るようになった女性、一つのパンのためにお互いを殺しあうユダヤ人達、全てが実話なのに、あまりに自分のいる世界と違いすぎて共感できませんでした。しかし、ホロコーストは確かに起こったのです。この本が語るように、かつて大勢のユダヤ人が大虐殺されたのです。もう二度と同じことが繰り返されないように、彼らの死が無駄にならないように、この本をぜひ読んでみてください。ホロコーストのことを知らない人も、知っている人も、読めば戦争が引き起こす酷い世界のことを少しは理解できると思います。
