Ellen Burstyn "Same Time, Next Year" (1978) and "Goodbye Charlie" (1964), Has a “more than” near death experience. Unlike Spock in "Star Trek IV - The Voyage Home" (1986), she can and does explain the experience. She is estranged from her father due to a difference in opinion on life style. She is nearly plugged by her boyfriend for not being a religious fanatic. After her experience she finds she has the ability to heal people and she performs several healings at her own expense.
The ending is quite appropriate for this movie and none could improve on it. This one must be purchased because you need to watch it over again to pick up the nuances.
