This disk has more fun. A bit more is explained and shown about how and why they fight. Monsters as spells is nifty. It's interesting that they can use spells while piloting their robots as well. The bad guys pilot their own Demonbane in this one. Everything about thsi series focuses on the magic and combat and characters only, the world is just background. It's charming that the robots are so huge in this series. Everything is over the top. Lots of underwear shots, and maid outfits, if you're into those kinds of things. The household is invaded and tentacles appear. I keep expecting the series to degrade, but it keeps its head up. Nifty good fun, with enough voice actor favorites to bring a smile to my face.
